About this event
Expected dates based on the lunar rule behind the 2026 edition: Taipei Travel lists the 2026 festival at Dalongdong Baoan Temple from 19 April to 16 June 2026, built around Baosheng Dadi's birthday on the 15th day of the third lunar month; that birthday falls on 21 April in 2027, and applying the same offsets around it gives 9 April to 6 June 2027, which is not yet confirmed. The programme includes fire lion fireworks, folk opera, processions and birthday rites at one of Taiwan's most decorated temples. The temple stands opposite the Taipei Confucius Temple in Dalongdong.
