About this event
Dates for the 2027 festival are not yet announced. The festival's official site, run by the Daxi Wood Art Eco-Museum under the Taoyuan City Government, shows the 2026 edition ran from 18 July to 6 August 2026, ending with the great processions on the 23rd and 24th days of the sixth lunar month for the birthday of Guan Sheng Di Jun at Puji Temple. In 2027 the 24th day of the sixth lunar month falls on 27 July, so the window shown here runs for the same three week build up to that climax. Events are free to watch, and the procession days fill the old streets from morning to night.
