About this event
The XTRI World Tour lists Formosa on 13 November 2026, billed as Taiwan's first extreme triathlon. Athletes swim 3.8 kilometres, ride 180 kilometres with close to 4,700 metres of climbing on the Taiwan KOM route, then run 43.4 kilometres to a mountain finish on Mount Hehuan. Only 150 slots are offered, so it is a bucket list race rather than a mass event.
