About this event
Expected date. The Golden Melody Awards are organised by the Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development under the Ministry of Culture, and the popular music ceremony was held at Taipei Arena on the last Saturday of June in 2024, 2025 and 2026, most recently on 27 June 2026, so the 38th edition is expected on Saturday 26 June 2027. The awards cover Mandarin, Taiwanese, Hakka and Indigenous language categories plus instrumental and technical prizes. The ceremony is televised live and public tickets are limited, with most fans following the red carpet and broadcast. A separate traditional arts ceremony follows later in the summer.
