About this event

Expected season. The East Rift Valley National Scenic Area states that the blooming season on Liushishi Mountain runs from August to September each year, and the same applies to Chike Mountain across the valley, so the 2027 season is expected across those two months. Together with Taimali in Taitung, the two Hualien mountains are Taiwan's three main areas for long yellow daylilies. Farm stays and small restaurants on the mountains serve daylily dishes and sell dried flowers during the season. Access roads are narrow and traffic is controlled on peak weekends.
