About this event
Expected dates. The Hualien County Government's 2026 edition ran from 1 to 5 July at Dongdamen Square in its 19th year, so a similar five night window around the start of July is expected in 2027. Each night carries a different musical theme and the lineup mixes leading Taiwanese performers with guests from elsewhere in Asia. The festival also showcases winners of the county's emerging artist competition. Admission is free and the square sits beside the Dongdamen Night Market.
