About this event
The East Rift Valley National Scenic Area Administration's news page runs the 2026 firefly season on every Friday and Saturday evening from 10 April to 2 May 2026 at the Liyu Lake South Trail, with online registration opening in late March. The 2027 dates mirror that pattern, Friday and Saturday evenings from 9 April to 1 May 2027. The administration cautions that firefly numbers depend on weather and habitat conditions. Tours are by registration.
