About this event
The national race calendar lists the eighth National Palace Museum Southern Branch Marathon on Sunday 6 December 2026, starting by the Celebration Garden on the north side of the museum in Taibao, Chiayi County. Few Taiwan races start at a national museum, and the lake and gardens make a distinctive venue. The flat Chiayi plain course suits half marathon runners.
