About this event
Expected dates. The New Taipei City Cultural Affairs Department's 2026 edition ran from 11 to 19 July at New Taipei Civic Plaza, the City Hall lobby and Fuzhong Plaza, so a similar mid July window is expected in 2027. The 2026 programme built five themed zones with troupes from France, Japan, Korea and Taiwan, including a French giant puppet company and a six metre dinosaur performance. Most outdoor shows and installations are free, with some workshops and partner venue events ticketed. Museums and libraries across the city run linked activities during the festival.
