About this event
POKÉMON X KOGEI asks what happens when Pokémon meet kogei, the traditional crafts of Japan. Twenty artists rework familiar characters in ceramics, metalwork, textiles, lacquer and kimono techniques. The Taipei run is held in Warehouse No. 5 of the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, with curatorial supervision by Japan's National Crafts Museum and special cooperation from The Pokémon Company. The exhibition is organized by The Yomiuri Shimbun with Firenze Cultural Exchange as local organizer.
