About this event
Expected dates. Taipei Travel reports the 2026 festival, its 18th edition, presented 171 groups and 762 performances in 39 spaces across the city over two weeks in August, so a similar two week August window is expected in 2027. The fringe model is open access, so any company can stage a show and set its own ticket prices. Venues range from small theatres and galleries to bars, dance studios and a former military dependents' village in Beitou. Most shows are individually ticketed at modest prices.
