About this event
Expected dates. The Taipei International Dragon Boat Championships, run by Taipei City Government at the Keelung River course under Dazhi Bridge in Dajia Riverside Park, drew 223 teams and more than 5,000 paddlers in 2026, when racing ran for three days from Dragon Boat Festival itself, Friday 19 June, to Sunday 21 June under the official competition rules published by the city. In 2027 the festival falls on Wednesday 9 June, so racing is expected across the festival and the following weekend, within the 9 to 13 June window shown; the city sports bureau publishes the confirmed race days and registration dates in the winter. Spectating is free, with a festival market and egg balancing events on the riverbank.
