The pattern rests on the Taipei City Government's official 2026 listing on travel.taipei: the 2026 Taipei Lantern Festival ran February 25 to March 15, 2026 across two zones, the Ximending area and the Yuanshan Park Area of Taipei Expo Park, organised by the Department of Information and Tourism, with IP-themed installations, international partner lanterns and competition entries. The 2027 dates shown here mirror that late February to mid-March run of about nineteen nights and should be confirmed when the city announces the 2027 edition.
