About this event
Expected dates. The Taiwan Music Festival is staged by the Pingtung County Government on the main beach at Kenting over the April long weekend, the slot once held by Spring Scream, and the 2026 edition ran for three days from 3 to 5 April with more than 100,000 attendees reported, so the 2027 edition is expected across the Qingming long weekend of 3 to 5 April. Entry is free and the lineup leans to rock, metal and indie bands from Taiwan and overseas. Kenting is at its busiest of the year that weekend, and rooms sell out well ahead. The festival is not a revival of Spring Scream, which has ceased.
