Expected dates based on the lunar rule behind the 2026 edition: Taipei Travel lists the 2026 festival from 14 June to 2 July 2026, with the main procession on the 13th day of the fifth lunar month, 27 June 2026; in 2027 the 13th day of the fifth lunar month is 17 June, and applying the same offsets gives 4 to 22 June 2027, which is not yet confirmed. The festival fills Dadaocheng and Dihua Street with processions, temple fairs and cultural programmes. It is the signature religious event of old Taipei's merchant district.
