About this event
Dates for 2027 have not yet been announced by the temple. Yunlin County Government describes a standing custom at Chaotian Temple of making a tour to pray for peace on the 19th and 20th days of the third lunar month each year, which fall on 25 and 26 April 2027. On these two days Beigang families host banquets for pilgrims, firecrackers line the streets and folk art troupes parade through the town. The tour sits within the wider Mazu birthday season, which peaks on the 23rd day of the third lunar month, 29 April 2027.
