About this event
Dates for 2027 have not yet been announced. Douliu City Office hangs lanterns across Taiping Old Street and surrounding roads each year before the Lunar New Year, and the 2026 edition ran through 31 March, so a February to March season is expected for 2027. In 2026 more than 18,000 lanterns lined Taiping Old Street and a 70 metre LED light mural decorated a major roundabout. The main lantern display stood at Pongsu Forest Park, with themed zones built around Douliu farm products and playful designs.
