About this event
Expected dates. Taiwan Panorama records that Dulan holds the Ilisin, its harvest festival, on 15 to 17 July each year at the village plaza, and Amis from across Taiwan travel home for it, so the same dates are expected in 2027. The festival gives thanks for the year's bounty and is organised through the traditional Amis age grade system. Visitors are welcome at the public celebrations of singing and dancing, but Ilisin is a living tribal ceremony rather than a staged show, and some rituals are restricted to community members. Guests should follow local guidance and ask before photographing ceremonies.
