About this event
PASIWALI, a word meaning towards the east in the Amis language, is Taiwan's leading festival of Indigenous music, drawing performers from Taiwan's Indigenous nations and Austronesian artists from abroad. The Tourism Administration lists the 2026 edition on 31 October and 1 November 2026 at Taitung Forest Park. Entry to the festival grounds is free, with food, craft and music programming across the weekend. It is the east coast's biggest music weekend of the autumn.
