About this event
The 2026 Taiwan Open of Surfing at Jinzun Harbor in Taitung County has been upgraded to a World Surf League QS 6,000 International event, one of only four at that tier worldwide and the tour's final stop of the season. The county government announced total prize money of NT$5 million, a record for Taiwan. A domestic tournament runs 6 to 8 November, and the WSL calendar lists the international phase from 14 to 22 November 2026. Watching from the Jinzun shore is free.
