About this event
Dates for the 2027 festival are not yet announced. The festival's official site shows the 2026 edition, its tenth, was held on 29 and 30 August 2026 at the kite field by Hsinchu Fishing Port, with 15 international teams from six countries flying large themed kites. The festival is also listed in the Tourism Administration 2026 to 2027 Taiwan Tourism Biennial Calendar and has been selected as one of Taiwan's top 100 tourism highlights. The weekend shown here is the matching last weekend of August 2027. Entry is free.
