About this event
Expected dates. The Longci Light Festival, known as the Kongshan Festival, is a paid entry night exhibition of light art along the trails of Huxingshan Park in Tainan's sparsely populated Longqi badlands, and visitors carry bamboo lanterns through the dark hillside works. The 2026 edition opened on 25 December 2025 and ran to 1 March 2026, closing on Lunar New Year's Eve and on Mondays to Wednesdays. The 2027 window mirrors that Christmas opening and a close in the week after Lantern Festival. Tainan City Government confirms the edition's theme, ticket prices and closed days in the autumn.
