About this event
The Sun Moon Lake Marathon is one of Taiwan's signature scenic races, run on the roads around the lake in Nantou County. The 2026 edition ran on Sunday 1 November 2026 with the start and finish at the Xiangshan Visitor Center, and distances from a 6K fun run up to the full 42K marathon. The organiser had published no 2027 date when checked on 2 November 2026, so this record is expected, set on the first Sunday of November 2027 on the recent pattern. Entry fees for 2027 had not been published either, so no price is carried.
