About this event
Expected dates. The Tourism Administration's event series for the buzzard season ran from 12 March to 30 April 2026, and the Changhua County Government records the 2026 main festival weekend on 21 and 22 March 2026 at Wende Elementary School in Fenyuan, the event's thirty-fourth year. The 2027 season is expected to follow the same mid March to end of April pattern, timed to the raptors' northbound migration.
