About this event
Children's Day is fixed on 4 April and is a public holiday under the DGPA 2027 calendar. In 2027 it falls on a Sunday, so a substitute rest day on Tuesday 6 April extends the combined Children's Day and Tomb Sweeping break to four days, from Saturday 3 to Tuesday 6 April. Museums, theme parks and family attractions run children's programmes and free or discounted admission for kids. It is one of the busiest domestic family travel weekends of the spring.
