About this event
Expected dates. Miaoli County Government's official announcement of the season opening states that Dahu's strawberry harvest runs every December to April, that about eighty percent of Miaoli's strawberries are grown in Dahu, and that the Dahu Farmers' Association opens the season with a ceremony each year. The 2026 to 2027 season is expected to open in December 2026 on the same pattern, with picking priced by weight at individual farms. Peak fruit runs from before Lunar New Year to March.
