Kinmen Green Stone Trough Series 2027
Each spring green algae carpets the weathered basalt troughs at Qingqi Port in Lieyu, and Kinmen runs a season of tours and activities around them.

Dates for 2027 have not yet been announced. Kinmen Travel lists Green Stone Trough Series Events from 1 March to 31 May 2026 at the Qingqi Port coastline in Lieyu, which it describes as the only weathered basalt coastline in the Kinmen area, showing its green stone trough landscape from March to May each year. The 2026 series included an eco friendly vehicle tour of the troughs, a postcard activity and a sketching and drawing contest. A spring 2027 season is expected on the same March to May pattern.
