About this event
The Kinmen Marathon runs across Kinmen island, past military memorials, old villages and wind lion god statues, a short distance from Xiamen. The AIMS directory lists the 2027 edition on Sunday 17 January 2027, and foreign-participant packages give the start and finish at the Kinmen-Matsu Joint Services Center Square in Jincheng. The full marathon traditionally starts before dawn at 06:50. Note that one older AIMS race page still shows a different January date, so the directory date is the one to trust.
