About this event

The Penghu Cross-Sea Marathon is an AIMS and IAAF certified point-to-point race that strings together Penghu's islands and cross-sea bridges, a course no other Taiwan marathon can copy. The Tourism Administration listed the 2026 edition on Sunday 1 November 2026, the first Sunday of November, with runners crossing from the outer islands back to the finish in Magong. No 2027 date was published when checked on 2 November 2026, so this record is expected, set on the first Sunday of November 2027, the date its own annual rule points to.
