About this event
The Penghu International Fireworks Festival lights up Guanyinting bay in Magong on Monday and Thursday nights through the early summer season, and is the islands' biggest visitor draw. No official 2027 dates had been published by Penghu County or the Tourism Administration when checked on 27 October 2026, so this record is expected, resting on the festival's long-standing late April to late June pattern (the 2023 edition ran 20 April to 29 June). Two cautions: the 2024 to 2026 editions expanded, running into late July or August, so the 2027 season may end later than the expected window shown here. Shows traditionally start at 21:00 and viewing is free.
