About this event

Dates for the fourth edition have not yet been announced. The Ministry of Culture describes the Matsu Biennial as a ten year project held every two years, co organised by Lienchiang County Government and the General Association of Chinese Culture, and the Tourism Administration selected it for its 2026 to 2027 Taiwan Tourism Biennial Calendar. The second edition ran from 23 September to 12 November 2023 and the third from 5 September to 16 November 2025, across four townships and five islands. A fourth edition in autumn 2027, mirroring the third edition's September to November span, is expected on that pattern.
